350g Plain Flour Plus 50g for dusting
1 teaspoon Instant Yeast
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
30g Caster Sugar
25g Milk Powder
35g Vegetable Oil plus extra for greasing
200g Lukewarm Water
12 small square Baking Paper

In large bowl, mix the dry ingredients. In another bowl, mix the vegetable oil and water.

Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the liquids. Stir with wooden spoon then use hand to knead until the dough comes together. Transfer it onto work surface and knead for 5 minutes. It might feel dry at first but it’ll come together smooth. Adding extra four little bit at a time if the dough sticks to the palm of your hand. Return the dough back to the bowl, cover and rest in warm place until doubled in size.

Once risen, transfer the dough to a work surface and dust with flour. Punch down the dough to release air bubble then knead for 8 minutes. Roll the dough out to 1cm thick with rolling pin then use 8cm diameter pastry cutter to cut out rounds. Fold rounds in half then flatten slightly with rolling pin. Place on a square of baking paper and rest it to 20minutes.

4. Prepare your steamer. When the water is boiling, steam the buns for 12minutes.
