Ingredients

225g Margarine

225g Caster Sugar

4 Medium Egg

225g Self Raising Flour

2tsp Baking Powder

1tsp Vanilla Extract

1.5tbsp Cocoa Powder

1.5tbsp Hot Water
Directions
Allow to cool in the tin for few minutes before turning out and leave to cool completely on a wire rack.

Pre heat oven to 180C. Prepared the tin and grease with butter |

Place all the cake ingredients except the cocoa and hot water in to a large bowl. Beat well until thoroughly blended. |

Dot about half of this mixture, in teaspoon into the base of the prepared tin. |

Mix the cocoa and water together in a small bowl and then mix into the remining cake mixture. Dot this mixture over and between the plain mixture until all is used up. |

Swirl with chopstick then carefully level the surface |

Bake in pre heated oven for 40 minutes or until well risen and springy to the touch. |
